Le Jardin

Inspired by the provincial French countryside, this comfortable and elegant chateau is not unlike those found perched atop hillsides, surrounded by endless, rolling vineyards as far as the eye can see.  With a steep hipped roof and its dramatic entryway, it both complements the surrounding landscape and makes an eloquent statement about its owners’ sense of style.

 INTERIOR FINISHES

To further fit the owners’ tastes, Le Jardin can be built with one of six different facades:

Adeline

A distinctive, round, stone turret draws attention near the entrance of this home that is reminiscent of a sprawling carriage house.  There is great attention to detail in the rustic wood shutters, steep-peaked front-facing gables topped with finials, and gold-hued French doors.  Multifaceted, paned glass and copper-domed cupolas capture and reflect light in a dazzling display.

Merlot

Clean lines and understated detailing give this home a refined elegance.  A singular gable over the arched entry nook flanked by a classic turret on one side and sheltered French doors on the other create a strong focal point.

Le Jardin Amourette

The most formal of the three facades, its pointed, hipped roof comes to a majestic peak over the grand entryway.  Copper finials, rounded dormers and beam work under the eaves add the finishing touches.

Le Jardin Corsica

The imposingly graceful two-story stonework enclosing the entranceway to this home is reminiscent of olde world European elegance. Large carriage lights on either side of the barrel celling entranceway, decorative medallion insets, windows with stone finishes and exposed wooden support brackets leave a lasting impact upon visitors.

Le Jardin West Indies

Two distinctive parapets topped with trim caps set this home apart from any other Le Jardin version.  Featuring decorative trim with exposed wooden support brackets, this home has metal accent roofing and Bahama-style shutters over the façade windows, and recessed French doors to the left of the covered entranceway.

Le Jardin Shiraz

Presenting the warmth of an elegant contemporary farmhouse, this home features an overarching porch with four columns supporting the copper porch roof and a stacked fieldstone base reminiscent of the farmlands of France. The home features cedar siding, vertical accent wooden siding in the upper gable and garage trim areas complete with decorative louvers provide an eye-pleasing contrast.

Inside, the elegant foyer gives way to a regal four-column gallery in front of the spacious living room and dining room, which features triple French doors, exposed trusses, and with a rustic stone mantel fireplace.

With plenty of space and access to the outdoors, the open family room and kitchen are sure to be a popular gathering place.  Detailed beam work with crown molding across the ceiling, a cozy breakfast nook, and a large kitchen island make for the perfect spot for family relaxation.  Sliding doors to the outdoor living area cover one entire wall of the family room, with windows and double French doors on the opposite end leading to a side courtyard.  A Dutch door off of the kitchen provides a fun and useful European touch.

On the other end of the home, the owners’ retreat is just that.  A vestibule off of the gallery provides a private entryway to the suite which features a tray ceiling, spacious his and hers closets, and a bathroom with separate his and hers vanities and garden tub.

The patio and pool area to the rear of Le Jardin truly expands the living space of the house.  With direct access from many of the rooms in the house, there will be little difference between indoor and outdoor living in this home.  Authentic wood timbers line the covered seating area and outdoor kitchen.  Off of the bonus room, around the corner from the pool area, a private courtyard offers a nice hideaway.  An extra seating area and an outdoor stone fireplace can also be added.
